North Dakota Nursing List

The ND Board of Nursing (NDBON) provides generated lists containing Non-Personal Identifiable Information on active North Dakota LPNs, RNs and APRNs for data analysis, reporting, and analytics purposes.

Exempt Data: Licensee home mailing addresses, telephone numbers, and email addresses are exempt from public disclosure under N.D.C.C. The NDBON does not provide exempt data in response to public requests.

Important Notice:

• Due to the launch of a new licensing system in 2024, not all employment data or employment practice areas will be available. This data will become more complete as licensees renew within the new system.
• The NDBON will not provide custom sorting of data.
• If an indivdual holds multiple active license types, they will have a unique row in the file for each license type they hold.

The NDBON Nurse List is delivered as a Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) file and includes the following data fields:

• First Name
• Last Name
• License Number
• License Status (NDRN denotes an individual with a North Dakota RN license; MSRN denotes an individual practicing off a compact RN license in another jurisdiction)
• License Issue Date
• License Expiration Date
• Original ND License Date
• License Type (LPN, RN, or APRN types of Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist, Certified Nurse Midwife, Certified Nurse Practitioner, or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist)
• Employment Practice Area
• Employer Name
• Employer Address 1
• Employer Address 2
• Employer City
• Employer State/Province
• Employer Zip Code
• Specialty Name
• Rx Authority Status*
• Rx Authority Number*
• Rx Authority Issue Date*
• Rx Authority Expiration Date*
• Rx Authority Original Issue Date*
